Progress

Claire had a follow-up visit with the pediatrician yesterday and he thinks she is doing well. She just has a bit of residual congestion and he says it is good that she is coughing to eliminate it.

She had Physical Therapy today and was able to work with the therapist the entire time (60 mins). Lately she would have an itchy fit halfway into it, so this was great.

Claire wore a short-sleved bodysuit for a while this afternoon and did not scratch her arms and legs. She has been in long panst and long sleves for months because having her skin exposed was very uncomfortable for her and would lead to lots of scratching (Escecially during diaper/clothes changes. Diaper changing is back to normal and it looks like she will be able to wear clothes appropriate for the warmer weather.

On a serious note...
We were saddened to learn Sunday morning that our beloved priest and father in Christ, Father Michael Trigg passed away on Saturday.

Beth,
What a great outfit you chose for Claire. She looks like such a big girl.

Jen and Mark,
Claire has changed so much since our visit last month. We are so eager to see her again.I am happy to hear things are going so well with skin, PT and health. And especially, thanks for blogging and more photos.

Thanks for the pictures! Claire looks so good! And so much more relaxed. When I read about how she now clings to you more when she is held, instead of trying to rub her head against you, I just about cried. How beautiful!

Jen,

Thanks for posting the pics of Claire in her "one-year" old dress!

I am so happy that she fits it even before her first birthday! Thank God.

She looks like she has grown leaps and bounds in the past 3 months since I was there.

When is her next Neurology and next Cardiology appointment? I am assuming they will be setting a date for cardiac surgery in the near future, that is if the need is still there?

We keep praying.

Yiannis sends his love as well. He likes hearing updates on Claire, very much, and I am glad Claire will have godparents, not just a godmother in the not too distant future :).

Thanks for being a great example of endurance and love, Jen.

Love, Beth
