still cornfused, folks... ah-ha I figured it out. It is the name of the company behind "Blogger"/BlogSpot (not Google, but the tech dudes that Google bought out.)

hrm, below is the torn example of using the Compose tab instead of raw, healthy, HTML:

But my hack seems to have a limitation. Since it relies on Blogger's somewhat obscure and not-well-documented "Link" feature...

Ok, I admit, Blogger is far superior to LiveJournal.
I'm now switching over officially (FWIW). I haven't decided if I want to host my own or use BlogSpot.

It was the ability to edit the HTML template of my blog that won me over. Also, seeing sites that seemed to have a personality of their own, like was eye-opening.

Now, if I can only find a way to make it have the ez-inter-link behaviour of a wiki, ... and, um, is it searchable?
